Big Island Youth Day (BIYD) is an opportunity for youth to rediscover their faith, build meaningful relationships, and experience the peace and joy of Christ's presence by stepping away from distractions in their everyday lives. This year’s event invites youth to know Christ deeply, show His love through action, and grow together as the Body of Christ.
Big Island Youth Day is open to the entire diocese but is primarily geared toward Hawai’i Island youth in grades 6-12. The theme is "Rooted in Christ, Growing in Love, United in Faith"
When and where?
St. Joseph High School (Hilo, Hawaii Island) - Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (check-in begins at 9:15 a.m.; ends with Mass at 5:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Church)
