“Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” Mark 6:31
Jesus invited his disciples to come apart for a time of rest and renewal. Retreats are a time away from our normal activities to spend time getting reacquainted with God, to examine the priorities of life and to make concrete and practical resolutions for improvement. Retreats can be a powerful step toward personal conversion.
The Leadership Retreat (ILR) is an opportunity for adults (ages 18+) who work with youth and/or young adults in the Diocese of Honolulu to refresh and renew their vigor for ministry. The retreat includes Mass, confession, silence, presentations, and fellowship.
