ABOUT THIS RETREAT
The Office of Evangelization and Catechesis invites all adults (18+) who serve in ministry with children, youth, young adults, adults, and families across the Diocese of Honolulu to a time of spiritual renewal, reflection, and fellowship.
Just as Jesus invited his disciples to step away from their daily work for rest and renewal, this retreat offers a sacred pause from the busyness of ministry. It is a time to reconnect with God, reflect on the priorities of life and service, and make practical resolutions for continued growth in faith and leadership.
This year’s Leadership Retreat (ILR) will focus on the second pillar of Catholic Stewardship: Prayer. The retreat includes presentations, extended periods of silence, communal prayer, and time for meaningful conversation. Rooted in prayer, the retreat invites participants to deepen their personal relationship with Christ and to reflect on how a life of prayer sustains their vocation and ministry. Participants will explore how prayer shapes their identity as disciples and stewards, grounding their service in God’s presence and love.

Cost: $200 (includes overnight accommodations for 2 nights, 3 meals, snacks and a blessed weekend of renewal)
Transportation is on your own. If you are flying, we suggest flying into the Hilo Airport.
