The primary goal of this retreat is for teens to understand their current universal vocation and explore the possibilities of their personal vocations through the lives of the saints.

Retreat Goals:

• For teens to accept that all are called to the universal vocation of holiness so that they might go out to love God and serve others.
• For teens to understand that the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony requires spouses to become a self-gift to one another, and in doing so, they become witnesses of sacrificial love to others.
• For teens to be aware of the beauty of religious life and to challenge them to embrace the spirit of the evangelical counsels in their current state of life.
• For teens to appreciate the priesthood as a vocation that offers the gift of salvation so that they may recognize that we all share in the priesthood of Jesus Christ.

When and where?

• Hawai'i Island - Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (ends with Mass at 4:00 p.m.) at St. Michael the Archangel Parish (75-5769 Alii Drive, Kailua-Kona)

Who should attend?

• Youth in grades 6-12.

Fees?

• FREE!  Mahalo to all those who are making this possible at no cost for our young people!

  • Download Medical Information/Parent Consent/Liability Waiver here.  This completed waiver needs to be turned in at check-in on the day of the event.
  • Download Photo Consent Form here. This completed form needs to be turned in at check-in on the day of the event.
