INQUIRY AND APPLICATION PROCESS


ACADEMIC PREREQUISITESSuccessful completion of three designated courses (Catholic Beliefs, Introduction to Scripture and Survey of Catholic Doctrine) offered “on-line” through the Virtual Learning Center for Faith Formation (VLCFF) will be required prior to entering Aspirancy Year (the first year of Formation).


Information on registration for the VLCFF is available through the University of Dayton at http://vlc.udayton.edu/

Information on the Permanent Diaconate

Basic Eligibility: Application to the Permanent Diaconate is open to all baptized Catholic males, married or unmarried, who will reach the minimum age of 35 at the time of ordination.
