BRIEF BIOGRAPHICAL DATA


Fr. Marc Alexander is Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia of the Diocese of Honolulu.  He is former Pastor of The Manoa-Punahou Catholic Community, which includes Sacred Heart Parish and Maryknoll School in Punahou and St. Pius X Parish and the Korean Catholic Community in Manoa.   

Fr. Marc is also the Diocesan Theologian for the Diocese of Honolulu.   From 1993-1999, he worked in public policy, serving as founding Executive Director of the Hawaii Catholic Conference.  He holds a Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Gregorian University in Rome, as well as, a M.A. in Religious Studies and License in Sacred Theology from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium.   

In the St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii, he is a Fellow of the St. Francis International Center for Healthcare Ethics.  Born in Sagami, Japan, raised in Hawaii, and educated in the USA and Europe, Fr. Marc has a truly international background.
