St. Patrick Parish in Kaimuki was one of four sites for food distribution, along with St. Rita Parish — Nanakuli, Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish — Pearl City, and St. John Vianney Parish — Kailua. Through their country store they raised over $8,000 which was donated to Oahu OSM for Thanksgiving purchases. Once again we worked with FoodLand Supermarket for Christmas and Thanksgiving. With their generous discount (6%) towards the purchase of gift certificates we were able to help many more families celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.
