Fr. Jack’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19th at St. John Vianney Parish, Kailua.

Visitation is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with Mass at 11:00 a.m.

Fr. John (Jack) Newton passed away last night, Friday, February 6, 2009, around 6 p.m. As many of you know, Fr. Jack, a priest of the Diocese of Camden, NJ, assisted at St. John Vianney Parish in Kailua for many years after his retirement from military service. Funeral plans are pending. We join together in praying for the repose of his soul and the comfort of his family.
